Well school has started once again. I have yet to get an apartment since I waited too long and now everywhere is quite full. The result of this is my commuting from Brigham City to Logan, my sleeping in married friends spare bedrooms, and my sleeping on a friends lawn in my (rather warm) sleeping bag. Last night in fact I choose the lawn as my place to retire for the evening, it's a bit lumpy, damp, and in some places muddy but those are small obstacles for a homeless person/adventurer ( I cannot seem to decide which title I feel the most connection with). Last night was a bit of a special occasion since I was serenaded by the sounds of the USU 80's dance coming from campus for the first hour of my backyard resting period. Yes nothing puts me to sleep quicker than music that came from possibly the worst decade in history for music, blaring, which was not without the accompaniment of girls who were not even born in the 80's screaming along. It really wasn't bad, just another story to tell I guess. What I've come to appreciate the most is how kind everyone has been about sharing their apartments/yards with me, not to mention the occasional dinner invite. Though I may be the only person to ever read this blog, I would like to say thank you to those who have been so thoughtful, thank you very much :)
I must say that the weirdest thing that has happend so far was one morning while going into a campus restroom stall, I looked over to see a woman straightening her hair. I knew for a fact that I was in the Men's room, however her expression showed she did not at all appreciate my company. She ended up leaving shortly after without saying anything. I guess I won that one.

  1. I'll buy you dinner, homelss/adventurer.

  2. Don't forget that you'll always have a home at the five.
